Continuous Assessment / Webquest 2: National Geographic
This are whale sharks. I choose this photo because its nice to see such a big animal moving in the sea. Its difficult for me imagine that I see a whaleshark from below. We can see even those little fishes swiming around the whale. This photo is just amazing.
I liked this other picture. I imagine this animal trying to eat me jajaja. One of my favourites animals is the tiger, with their long and big claws. Tigers can kill us just with one strike, they are too strongs, and they hunt very quickly. I think that if we cross our sights, we should better start to say goodbye.
This is a video of a little runt tiger, he doesn't have the strenght of his brothers, so he's under the effect of natural selection. He will probably die because he's not apt to survive on nature. His mother left him back because, take care of this little runt means loose energy and time in a creature that cannot survive by himself in the nature. So mother preffers to take care of the sons that are more apt to survive. Sad but true.
In this video we can see how the elephants can communicate between theirselfs. And we can hear the scream of elephants when they see theirselfs threeten by humans. The matriarch of the herd face against the humans, and try to protect their herd. Its incredible to see such a big animal when they come running to you. I think that woman was more than scared, they crush us down just with one leg.
Environment section
I recommend this section because environment its very relationed with animals, if we take on count that because of pollution of our environment, we contribute with extinction of some species, and not just with pollution, I mean, deforestation, and taking away natural habitats of some animals. The worst is when we take away the natural habitat of the animals just for an economical good, for a material good, and not for humanitarian good.
