Post 6 >> A Picture I like..

Well I believe that this is one of the only pictures that I have in my facebook. And at the same time, is one of the most beautifull picture that I have. This photo was taken at Antofagasta, in a beach called "Cordeles". Cordeles in english means "The ropes", its called like that because to access the beach, you have to go down a cliff with ropes, without them, you cannot down, even you can die.
This photo shows the moment when I was preparing myself to get into the water to run some waves. The beach's bottom is sandy, so if you wape out of the wave, isn't as dangerous as if you were running a wave with deep of rocks.
This photo was taken by my ex-girlfriend, she never liked that I liked to surf, but she went with me to the beach anyway. It was taken between january and february.
To ride this wave we had to raise up from our beds at 5:00 am, get to the beach by 6:00 am, before the winds appears and before the sunrise. It was a magical moment when I was riding a wave and could see how beautiful was the red dawn, and everything was beautiful. When I come back to antofagasta I hope to ride it again, and see the dawn again , and feel as I feel then. Happy and free.

With this other picture you can imagine how much you had to claim to get into the beach, imagine the physical effort you have to do to reach the up of the cliff. This photo shows us the dawn in Antofagasta, you can't even emagine how hot is the air and environment when the sun is stricking you in the face at 12:00 am.
I hope you liked my photos.

Continuous Assessment / Webquest 2: National Geographic

This are whale sharks. I choose this photo because its nice to see such a big animal moving in the sea. Its difficult for me imagine that I see a whaleshark from below. We can see even those little fishes swiming around the whale. This photo is just amazing.

I liked this other picture. I imagine this animal trying to eat me jajaja. One of my favourites animals is the tiger, with their long and big claws. Tigers can kill us just with one strike, they are too strongs, and they hunt very quickly. I think that if we cross our sights, we should better start to say goodbye.

This is a video of a little runt tiger, he doesn't have the strenght of his brothers, so he's under the effect of natural selection. He will probably die because he's not apt to survive on nature. His mother left him back because, take care of this little runt means loose energy and time in a creature that cannot survive by himself in the nature. So mother preffers to take care of the sons that are more apt to survive. Sad but true.

In this video we can see how the elephants can communicate between theirselfs. And we can hear the scream of elephants when they see theirselfs threeten by humans. The matriarch of the herd face against the humans, and try to protect their herd. Its incredible to see such a big animal when they come running to you. I think that woman was more than scared, they crush us down just with one leg.

Environment section

I recommend this section because environment its very relationed with animals, if we take on count that because of pollution of our environment, we contribute with extinction of some species, and not just with pollution, I mean, deforestation, and taking away natural habitats of some animals. The worst is when we take away the natural habitat of the animals just for an economical good, for a material good, and not for humanitarian good.

Post 5 > Why do I want to be a vet?

Well, I want to be a veterinary because since I was a child, I loved to play with dogs, hug them and kiss them. But before I started to study veterinary medicine, I studied Engeneering.
The other options that I had, were Agronomy and Marine Biology, but I decided to study veterinary because I want to travel around the world, and I believe that if I become a vet, I will be able to go wherever there are animals around the world. On the other hand if I had studied agronomy, would have had to be in a fixed place of work, and I don't think that it would been good for me.

My experience at the University has been pleasant since I arrived. My classmates have treated me well. I come from a public high school, so I was not well prepared to enter to the university and face the new materials, and never had the pace of study that one should have in college. But little by little, I'm taking the pace.

What kind of job I would like to have? Obiously, a job related to animals, and the same time, related with nature. Animals are nature, without hate, without greed, just their own true. Eagles in the sky doesn't care about what's legal or not. I think we, as vet, should repair the bad that mankind has done to animals.
Humanity believes that we are superior than existing races, but they forget that we all need to eat and breathe. They forget that we are all Earthlings. We are suposed to watch over this world but instead, we increase what this world can not receive, polluting and taking away the habitat of the other species. That's why I want to be a vet.
